This is a voice message I received from my old boss, on my splendid iPhone. She wants to know where her $800.00 printer is. I dunno. Have any of you seen it? Where could it be?

Listen to the voice message and see if you can find any hints as to where this printer may have gotten off to. Then read the full article for some clever hints.

June 1, 1967 | June 1, 2007

It was 40 years ago today. Oh how I remember that day like yesterday… well, not quite– I was -9 then. Even still, that year is very important in my mind’s timeline.

Do-Re-Mi-Fa-So-La-Ti-Blah-Blah

Musically speaking, so much great music came out that year. The Beatles released ‘Sgt. Pepper’ and ‘Magical Mystery Tour’. Jimi Hendrix put out ‘Are You Experienced’ and ‘Axis: Bold As Love’. The Doors released ‘The Doors’ and ‘Strange Days’. The Byrds released ‘Younger Than Yesterday’. Love gave us ‘Forever Changes’. The Velvet Underground released ‘The Velvet Underground and Nico’. And who can forget about ‘The Who Sell Out’ by The Who? You get the picture… a lot of great music came out in 1967.

Going Postal!

Security Warning

Do I need any other examples of George W. Bush’s failed war on terror? No, not after today. I am resigned to the fact that my civil liberties will be eroded to the point where I don’t realize I’m free anymore. And by the way, this is his war. The American people do not share his feelings on this one.

Today I was surprised to see my USPS Priority package come back to me, returned from the Post Office. It seems that they are on some kind of “heightened alert” and all packages weighing in at over 16 ounces must be presented to a retail clerk. What they should have said is that for being a good citizen, not breaking the law, you have to stand in line for 30 minutes rather than placing a stamp on your parcel and quietly, easily dropping it in the box.

Xbox Live!

Dear Customer,

Your subscription to Xbox Live Subscription Transfer is scheduled to be automatically renewed to Xbox Live 12 mo. Gold Membership on Monday, October 09, 2006.

Ummm, no thank you. I have decided not to update my credit card on file, and just let my subscription lapse into the nothingness of Xbox Hell.

The Xbox 360 was the biggest dissapointment in my 20+ years of gaming. I have no desire to ever play this piece of trash again. The 360 will never live up to the fun of the original Xbox and Xbox Live service. And BTW… Halo 2 sux0rz to all get out!

Deja-Domino

Domino's

A strange thing happened yesterday that may never happen again.

I ordered some pizza from Domino’s around 8:00 pm. I placed my order as usual; the guy asked me for my phone number and I told him what I wanted. About 4 minutes later the pizza guy called back and asked me if I’m in Holyoke (city I live in). I said yes, and he said I’m not going to believe what just happened.

He then proceeded to tell me that right after I ordered, a person that lives in the next town over called to order a pizza. That in and of itself is no big thing, but the guy who ordered right after me just happened to live on a street with the same name as mine, and live in a house with the same number as mine.

Nevermind

Artist: Nirvana
Album: Nevermind (1991)
Song: Lounge Act

I’m in between ripping CDs with Apple Lossless, so I don’t have too many CDs on my computer. Of the 17,000+ songs I do have, I only have 50 in lossless. So, this means you get Nirvana, and there’s a good chance it may be them next week as well.
