No, not for my search engine. I stopped using Yahoo! a long time ago. I’ve switched my web browser home page to Google News, replacing the Yahoo! home page I’ve used for years.

It’s all because of the new Yahoo! home page… in a word it’s stupid. Just about everything you hover over causes a pop-up or some larger area to open up. It got to the point where I couldn’t even move my mouse on the page in fear I would open another pop-up. What’s worse, because there is so much “hoverable” content, trying to click out of something often gets you into something new.

What a mess! Just because you can pack 10,000 items in a 1280 x 1024 screen space doesn’t mean you have to. I’ll go back to Yahoo! when they go back to sensibility.

As for Google, the page meets my minimalist taste.
