I can honestly say that George W. Bush seems like a statesman when compared to Sarah Palin. Just when I think this woman has reached the lowest point on the “dumb scale,” she puts her head down and burrows far deeper. Not too many people can look like an idiot multiple times, within days. But she can.

I have never seen a public figure with such thin skin. It seems it doesn’t matter how petty or ridiculous a joke or jab may be thrown at her, still she gets her panties in a ball. Whether it’s David Letterman, the “elite” media, the Obama Administration, or now Family Guy, does she really think she can win these silly battles? What’s more, who in their right mind would want to fight them?

At one point it may have worked to play the victim to the big, bad, elite media. Now she just sounds like a real bitch. She has cried wolf a dozen too many times, and now she just serves as fodder for the news media. But I guess this is to be expected. After all, Sarah couldn’t handle the rough and tough Alaska media, so how in the hell are we to think she is capable of functioning in the national spotlight?

The root of all Palin’s problems is simple– she dumb. In medical terms, I believe the correct word for her is imbecile. She is like a parrot, being able to perfectly mimic the talking points of the right-wing agenda… or so we thought. Having to write some keywords on her hand for a softball interview doesn’t sound to me like the voice of a party. But if you listen to Fox And Friends, Gretchen Carlson seems to think Palin wrote on her hand on purpose. Yup, that sounds pretty logical. Even Steve Doocy wasn’t buying it.

Now, her latest run-in with the media is an episode of Family Guy, where Chris takes a girl out on a date who happens to have Down Syndrome. Chris asks her what her parents do, and she says her mother is the former governor of Alaska. Of course this was making fun of Palin’s baby son, Trig, who has Down Syndrome. Of course this was an evil attempt to mock people who have Down Syndrome. Of course Palin is full of shit!

First of all, the episode featured a girl with Down Syndrome. Trig is a boy, and a baby. At most, this is making fun of Sarah Palin for being “defective” and having a child with Down Syndrome. But I don’t even think it goes that far. It’s a funny line about a public figure. I’ve been watching Family Guy for years and I can’t tell you how many people they have made fun of. Palin is the first person I ever heard of that had a problem with it, and took it deadly serious.

And what’s worse for Palin is that the voice actor, Andrea Fay Friedman, who also has Down Syndrome, spoke out and basically told Sarah to lighten up, and that she has no sense of humor. Wow, pwned! She got it good from a slow girl.

In my family we think laughing is good. My parents raised me to have a sense of humor and to live a normal life. My mother did not carry me around under her arm like a loaf of French bread the way former Governor Palin carries her son Trig around looking for sympathy and votes. –Andrea Fay Friedman
