Quick Hits: What’s What In The News?
This is the first of a weekly piece I will call “What’s What In The News?” I will list about five items that have been in the news for the past week and briefly comment on each. Another foreign company has bought a home-grown symbol of American ingenuity. Residents of Chicago refuse to call it anything other than the Sears Tower. Good for them. Denver Broncos fans went through the same thing, and the company that bought the naming rights had to keep “Mile High” in the official title.
I so much enjoy Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Mark Levin, and all other right-wing, conservative nut jobs squirming in their seats, hot-headed over the eventual nomination of Sonia Sotomayor to the Supreme Court. It’s a done deal. Put a fork in it and get the ketchup ready.
